Query: Whether credit can be availed on service
tax paid on the mobile bills. It was clarified that the credit
cannot be taken on this. Is there a change in the position? What is
the reference for change?
Reply: As per our knowledge there is no change in
the stand. The reason for the decision was that - in the sub rule
the words "installed in the premises" exist where as mobile & WLL
phones are not "installed in the premises".
